Google, for instance, rather than developing a new application, has added a new feature to its old google mobile application. The application was named google goggles, as it is just performing functions like a real man eye. It is a visual search tool that aids user in searching. Google adds about it

“Computer vision is a hard problem and Google Goggles is still a Labs product. It works well for things such as landmarks, logos and the covers of books, DVDs and games. However, it doesn’t yet work for some things you might want to try like animals, plants or food”

Using google goggles is as simpler is as taking a snap, user just has to take a snap of the thing he wants to find about and google goggles will search about it, itself. More feature, that adds google goggle is that it can also solve Sudoku puzzle, just take snap of the puzzle and search it on google goggles, it will reveal whole puzzle.

Moreover google goggles traces your location and tells you the specialty of that place, and some other important information about it.
